Well, there’s that abomination/detestable thing, but you prefer to edit that out. Not applicable, right?
Have at it.
Not editing a thing out.
Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.
Unequal weights and unequal measures are both alike an abomination to the Lord.
Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished.
IOW, abomination is used to refer to quite a number of sins, some of them sexual, others not.
As stated earlier, I quite agree that homosex is a sin against God. I merely find little warrant in Scripture for the notion that it is uniquely and peculiarly sinful, or that God views it as greatly more evil than other sexual sins which so many of us today take for granted as normal.
