People aren’t automatons, they chose to panic. So, why blame someone else? Aren’t we about personal responsibility around here?
That is precisely the point. Why did they make such a choice? What factors led to the choice?
If this all came out of thin air with no motivation, I would tend to agree that people made a choice without appropriate information. But that is NOT the case. There was plenty of information that indicated a problem.
It would be stupid to ignore such a situation.
Now that it is assumed that the information was faulty, why do you choose to place no fault with those who put such information out?
