(Reuters) - North Korea has asked Russia to consider the possibility of evacuating staff from its embassy in Pyongyang due to increasing tension on the Korean Peninsula, a spokesman for the Russian embassy said by phone from Pyongyang on Friday.

China doesn’t need to push like that - they’ll have Taiwan “back” within twenty years, anyway. I don’t think they have any more control over the Boy King than we do. The short-term hit to their economy from a new war on the Korean peninsula would be a lot worse than the hit to our own.
The little dictator is looking at the billions we’re pouring into Afghanistan and Iraq, and wants some of what they got.

Yes I have read that book. It is a good read.
A free opportunity to invade the mainland US on the backs of probably China and Russia.
American response will only be attacks on missile sites and possibly some other military targets. They will be annihilated and the NK question will go away.
China can simply buy out Taiwan.

Why can’t the NOKOs put the missle on a ship and sail within range of the US? If they don’t have the ability to hit us from there, put the entire launching system on a boat and float it closer to the target. Certainly they have the ability to do that.
