All across the United States, the Lefties are rushing to kill off the goose that lays the golden eggs.
Well, the legislators all have jobs - why should they care about the little people?
Also, when they need more money, they will just increase the levy upon their slaves. The slaves will gladly pay until they run out of money. At that point in time, the CT politicians will run to the Federal Government for the money. This is a win win proposition for them. They can't lose for winning. They have an obient slave population that re willing to support them and they are secure in the knowledge that the slaves will continue to willingly lick their boots. As long as they can make them feel "secure".
As far as I am concerned, because the citizens of CT were so willing and eager to sell their birthright and God gived freedom for a bowl of Government stew, that the complimently term, "American" no longer apply to the State of CT.
