To help improve the in-game experience, and get more people into the stadium, the National Football League will mandate their teams to install video cameras inside the home locker room before next season to provide content for use during halftime or breaks in the action, NFL executive vice president of business ventures Eric Grubman announced during a panel appearance at Wednesday's SBJ/SBD's World Congress Of Sports.
While installation of the cameras is mandatory, the home team will be able to control what footage is used.
"The content will be available only in stadium and the content will be available only of the home team. You can show it or not show it," Grubman said according to the SportsBusiness Journal.

trust me...it will show up in other places...
NFL has become a pathetic product.
This is to increase the female and gay fan base. Guaranteed.
Yet another idea they stole from the XFL. For all if its football mediocrity XFL had some pretty good presentation ideas.
Homo Erotica?
WTF is this? Who wants to see a bunch of guys between dressings?
Cheerleaders’ locker room would be more entertaining.
SnakeDoc
Knowing the NFL, there will be pages upon pages of rules, that change every year to make it easier for the cameras.
“WTF is this? Who wants to see a bunch of guys between dressings?”
Maybe they will be asked to “waive their schwantz” for the “folks!” You know. one of those “wardrobe malfunctions.” I wouldn’t watch the NFL if you paid me! Even NASCAR is screwing up what used to be something interesting to watch.
When the hell are the owners going to have enough of Roger Goodell’s bullcrap??
The guy is ruining the game!!
Well, hey - What about Danica?
ESPN’s coverage can be tiresome. Plus she is a lib Obama supporter.
I’m that way about Basketball: “Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe.”
On a first-name basis, huh?
There were others listed but yeah, the first name basis is unprofessional and inconsistent. The other night I saw an ESPN headline which read “Carmelo, LeBron and Wade...” I guess Wade didn't make the cut of first-namers.
I was thinking about women’s college basketball and the WNBA. But then I thought, uh Britney Griner. So never mind.
This is not to give fans another game experience.
This is to make sure no bullying nor epithets are said in the locker room.
It’s a matter of soon time until football - as a business and a game - is dead.
So now we can watch footballers changing into/out of their uniforms and marvel at scenes of butts and balls?
Wow, what a thrill.
