Omar Hammami, the most prominent American jihadi left alive, probably should be running. When Hammami came to Somalia for jihad in 2006, he never anticipated that al-Qaidas local affiliate would pledge to kill its former propaganda asset. And last month, the U.S. government put a $5 million bounty on the head of the 28-year-old Alabama native. These could be the last moments of Hammamis life. [snip] Omar Hammami grew up in the deep south, in a town called Daphne, near Mobile. Born in 1984 to a Syrian Muslim immigrant father and a white Protestant mother, he was raised as a Christian.

I got stopped by a cop last weekend because I was clipping a bush on the side of the road that I thought was cool and was told it was a federal offense. Luckily I just got a warning. I find Islam absolutely repulsive, but there is no reason to pass another single law in our country unless that law is to repeal some other law that already exists.
Got a question for the author of this story...
If you know where he is, why did you not tell U.S. authorities?
This is a prime example why a white Christian woman should NEVER marry a Muslim middle easterner . It should be illegal.
At my former employer were two ex-Iranian men who fled here in the late 60s. They both married Christian women. Neither would ever contact his family or let them know where they were. They did not believe in diversity. Very interesting to talk to, both of them.
In college a girl married a Saudi. Here he was the perfect American male. When they went home she found that she was wife #3. They took her passport and she was a virtual prisoner. The other wives didnt like her. She escaped several years later. Now, theyd probably send her back. (I only heard this second hand, so dont know the details.)

Small potatoes!
Boise, Idaho - 2002. From this thread
"Azad Abdullah BOISE - Boise Police have just announced they have arrested Azad Abdullah for the murder of his wife, Angie.
He is charged with first degree murder, 3 counts of attempted murder, 1 count of arson and 1 count of felony injury to a child.
Azad is accused of suffocating Angie on October 5th, then setting their house on fire. His stepdaughter, his stepdaughter's friend and his newborn son were inside the house at the time of the fire. He's also accused of leaving his 18 month old son outside in the backyard unattended, as he fled the scene.
If convicted he could face the death penalty. We'll have full details on this story including what detectives say about the case coming up tonight on Idaho 2 News at 5:30 and 6:30.
Angie was from a small town in southeastern Idaho. She converted to Islam - don’t know if she was raised Christian or not, but there was an article at the time showing she was not raised as a muslim.
So far, so good.
“Not Without My Daughter” comes to mind. I remember seeing a couple of American women at a hearing in Washington testifying that their children were taken to KSA by their fathers and they hadn’t been able to get them back. Both were blondes, which seem to be the exotic “other” to KSA males. I couldn’t help but wonder what were these women thinking when they married these barbarians? Perhaps the money dazzled them. Either way, any woman considering dating, much less marrying these males needs a psychiatric appointment.
Islam itself should be outlawed in this country and defined as a criminal cult and not defined as a religion . The way they treat us , we should treat them . F um
“I couldnt help but wonder what were these women thinking when they married these barbarians?”
I was in college when the Lebanese Civil War broke out. A very handsome Lebanese student really wanted to stay. He was scared sh*tless. When he was days away from having to leave he asked this really fat girl to marry him. She was incredibly happy. Nobody ever said anything to her to my knowledge. But he would have married a goat to stay. I often wondered how it worked out. At least she was here and not there.
For him, it was a ticket to a green card. It would be interesting to find out though. If you remember his or her names, you might try Facebook or other social media.
“If you remember his or her names,...”
Oh, my goodness! I’m 59. That was 35 years ago. I’m already forgetting the names of the several hundred people I’ve worked with at the last two jobs I’ve had since being laid off in 2011. (I make a huge effort to remember them while I’m there. But later...gone.)
I know what you mean! I’m 45 and can’t remember the names of more than 10 graduation classmates.
My baby half sister was raised Catholic, but wound up marrying a Moroccan Muslim man. This was during the Bush 43 era. He could never get a visa to come to the US during those years, but guess what happened after Zero was elected?
They live in San Jose now. Ducky...
