Remember when the buses sent out to promote HillaryCare were set upon by furious seasoned citizens, and they beat a hasty retreat? That is what should happen next year when ObamaCare takes over. The DHS, with all those hoarded bullets, simply can’t shoot Grandma and Grandpa on TV. Even CNN would quail before the onslaught of revulsion that would meet such an atrocity.

Sort of goes along with my theory..maybe...that politicians probably would not repeal it......it would repeal itself.

“ObamaCare is Exhibit A that liberalism does not work. However, I just never thought that we would win the argument by letting the liberals implement it. “

There is no win. First of all, let’s just call a low information voter what he or she really is, stupid.

Now, realize that the people that put Obamacare together expected this type of trouble. They just figured they’d tailor it, and make it up as they go along. With ample cover provided by the Obama media, the stupid people will think all is well.

I have been saying this same message.

We are at a point in history when the American public no longer recognizes good policy from bad.

In the past, supporters of both sides of a position would recognize the validity of the opposite side. Anti-Federalists recognized that there were dangers inherent in completely independent states but believed the dangers of a tyrannical central government were worse. Federalists recognized the threat of a tyrannical central government but viewed the consequences of 13 states going there own ways as a worse outcome. This same dynamic can be seen in almost all issues in American history. The problem we have today is that supporters of Big Government don't recognize that there is a down side. They think big government programs benefit everyone. They think it improves the economy. They think it improves the overall standard of living. They think there IS such thing as a free lunch.

The only way to get back to the point were people recognize correct principals is to let them learn by experience. Get out of the way and let the central planners fall on their faces.

The Republicans need to stand firm - repeal all or nothing. Don’t just let the Democrats repeal one piece at a time. I think the whole of ObamaCare should be shoved down America’s throat. That’s the only way we’ll ever get rid of it!

It will get worse for ObamaCare when Senators and Representatives start getting phone calls and messages from voters complaining that their premiums are going up and employers are cutting back hours to avoid the new rules and regulations.

The left will just use that as an argument for a full-blown socialized, single-payer health care system. They want total control and will not allow anything to stop them. Obama Care is just a small step in the direction they want to go.

The Democrats are trying to delay implementation until after the 2014 elections. The Republicans would be foolish not to allow the Democrats to reap what they have sown.

It looks like the best way to repeal ObamaCare is to implement it

That’s been my take since Roberts’ decision. I have a sneaking hunch it is his too. And there may be some genius there. If he had let the court strike it down, a lot of peoople would have been very upset that they didn’t get what they wanted.

Now that they’re getting it, a lot of them may get to the point where they scream, “PUT IT BACK! PUT IT BACK!”

It will reach a form of consensus, and history can begin judging Obama as it should.

I was notified in October 2010 by my insurer that parts of the “affordable care act” (obamacare) would go into effect on Jan.1, 2011. Specifically, “children” to age 26 would be covered and no more life time limits on insurance pay outs. At the time, my life time limit was $5 million. Due to these two changes, they increased my premiums by 35%.

In Oct. 2011, I got another notice, without being specific as to why, they notified me of an additional increase in premiums of 25% effective Jan.1, 2012 - due to changes in the law. My last increase, effective Jan, 2013 was about 15% - no explanation - but by that time, I didn’t need one.

RE :”My guess is that Senate Democrats will start taking ObamaCare apart. In fact, 79 senators including several liberal lawmakers voted to kill the “medical device tax”. It will get worse for ObamaCare when Senators and Representatives start getting phone calls and messages from voters complaining that their premiums are going up and employers are cutting back hours to avoid the new rules and regulations”

At the time they passed it Obama gave them the #1 rule : pass something/anything and so this is what they ended up with, the Senate bill with additional taxes and spending added to get Pelosi House votes.

Sure, its easy to repeal the taxes in it but just try repealing the give-aways like medicaid expansion that many GOP governors now feel forced to accept.

Or the most popular part : the employer birth control mandate. repealing that give-a-way would be like repealing Santa.

Typical Polls : Americans want more spending, less taxes (except for some others like those guys making more than them) and deficit reduction all at the same time.

Not to worry. The Stupid Party will come to the rescue and help mend Obamacare. They have already done so several times and look for more "mend it, don't end it" legislation, e.g., eliminating the medical devices tax.

Any time real public pressure comes to bear as Obamacare is implemented, the politicians, including Reps, will do whatever is necessary to lessen the pain--temporarily. As a result, the costs of Obamacare will soar and will add more and more to the national debt with the elimination of revenue measures in Obamacare.

The author is an a$$.

Laws are seldom, if ever, reversed. The only one I can think of, off the top of my head, is Prohibition. And that, essentially created the Mafia during its tenure.

The stupidest thing you can do is to oppose the principle of what someone is doing, yet fund them to do it.

It was still a MASSIVE failure of the GOP at many levels and moments to expose this monstrosity.
