Author says government's actions are 'comparable to U.S. funding al-Qaida'
WASHINGTON—The U.S. government running guns to Mexican cartels is “comparable to the United States funding al-Qaida to make someone in the United States look bad,” according to the author of a new best-seller.
Katie Pavlich is the author of “Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and the Shameless Cover-Up,” news editor of Townhall.com and an expert on the Fast and Furious scandal.
In an interview with WND, she asserted that the Obama administration intentionally orchestrated a “false flag” against lawful gun dealers, the U.S. Border Patrol and Mexican citizens to give cause for more gun regulation.
“This is a situation where the government was creating a situation where they could blame law-abiding citizens, turn them into criminals and creat[e] this false problem that they could solve through gun regulation,” Pavlich said.
Pavlich compares drug cartels to terrorist groups like Hezbollah, and new reports say the groups actually are linked.
“This is a situation where [the Obama administration was] willing to put public safety in danger, get thousands of people killed south of the border. The only reason we know about this is because (Border Patrol agent) Brian Terry was killed,” she said.
Pavlich cites the history of how the government courted gun dealers in Arizona to work with the ATF to sell guns to illegal buyers – allegedly to prove that guns were being transferred from American dealers to drug cartels.

Gun ownership by Americans has far surpassed expectations that any pro gun lobby could hopefully in their best days of selling to the public personal defense weapons.
The more Obama pushes against guns the more people are buying, was at one time a house may have had just a shotgun and a bedside .38 revolver, now on average the American citizen has at least three or more firearms, the smart buyers not having any registered, PLUS instead of just a couple of boxes of ammo people are buying by the case.
Unemployed people are surviving by getting enough money to buy available ammo and immediately re-selling it at a profit, and then are able to feed their hungry children.
And many are making black powder fueled .22LR reloads, scavenging the compounds to make the rimfire primer, taking the dent out of the case and using fired clay to make lead bullet molds.
Americans cannot be disarmed, not by any or even combined Armed Forces of other countries, does not matter if the nation had 5 million UN troops with tanks, there is too many people armed to the teeth and supported by the Constitution to declare war individually.

What else would you call heavily arming international criminal syndicates within a foreign country wherein that country is in a death struggle with those syndicates?
Especially when it goes beyond thousands of assault rifles to include grenades, RPGs, shoulder fired rockets, anti-aircraft guns, night vision equipment, body armor and special deals to bring their drugs onto our soil with legal impunity?
Not to mention that the rip crew that killed BP Agent Brian Terry was there with DEA and FBI assistance and approval to attack and kill a rival cartel's smuggling crew.
Let's not leave out the DEA laundering millions of dollars for the drug cartels by setting up bank accounts for them that they otherwise couldn't do.
It's organized, it is spread through every Federal LEA and it violates numerous domestic laws and numerous statutes and treaties that deal with foreign nations. Yet none of it has been officially sanctioned. It's the FedGov acting like mafiosa.
0bama, Holder and Hillary Clinton are all deeply involved in this and it is state-sponsored terrorism. These criminal thugs are dragging our country down to the level of Tehran and Pyongyang.
What a horrible thought that is. It’s disgusting that we have such an “administration” that we would even think such a thing, but there it is. Plausible as can be.
