Nobel Laureate warns U.S. economy going down

Edward C. Prescott, the 2004 Nobel Laureate in economics, says the U.S. economy is “slowly becoming more depressed” and that the spending being pursued by politicians in Washington will “create more poverty.”

The Founders would have, by this time, gathered powder, patch and ball and dealt with the a$$wipes who hold office in this country. I’m 63 with a game knee but I’d happily join 10,000 men in such an effort. I havevthe necessary.

I'm just wondering how, when, and by what means...
Will we go with a big collapse? and the chaos that follows?
Or slowly swirl down the bowl until we are completely indistinct from Mexico in another 10-15 years...gradually going '3rd-world'?
