I find this appalling. The lack of personal ethics and morality is evident in our country's current direction.
Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle. - George Washington

What district did this bozo run in? Any state that keeps putting Lindsay Graham back in office really has gone to the dark side.

There in D.C. he can claim to be out climbing the dome.

We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government; upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God. Ugh. Sanford has shown a lack of core values. If he’s elected I see a gradual re evaluation from him on things like homosexual marriage, the need for more than 10 round magazines and amnesty for illegal immigration.
Heck, soon enough expect to see him seated on a couch with Pelosi...

SC's ex-Gov. Sanford clears hurdle in comeback bid"I want to thank my God," Sanford said. "I used to cringe when somebody would say I want to thank my God because at that point I would think this is getting uncomfortable. But once you really receive God's grace and (have) seen it reflected in others you stop and acknowledge that grace and the difference He has made in my life and in so many lives across this state and across this nation."
TRULY honoring God would mean that he honored and kept the covenant that he made with his wife instead of following his hormones!

Good to see another honorable guy win.
I would consider voting for the Green Party over him. I probably just wouldn’t vote because I know I wouldn’t vote for him.

If he wins, Karl Rove may tout him as the GOP’s presidential standard bearer for ‘16. He would be the ideal candidate for the new values-free GOP.

I used to think that this guy was good. Fooled me. I hope he finds redemption, but not in Congress.
I’d be skipping this race if I lived there.
