And I have to add...anyone see the video of Dear Leader shooting hoops yesterday at the Eastef Egg Roll? Oh my. He could NOT have ever played even Hawaiii HS basketball. His hands are all wrong. He finishes low. Everything about him is fake. Even hoops.

Doggie is hospitalized at the vets. They called last night. She’s on IV. The vet tech said she was already perking up and was drinking water and keeping it down. They are trying to get her sugar levels down. I never thought I’d get so emotional over a dog, but it was awful thinking we might lose her!
I listened to the exchange between the congressman and the abortion clinic worker. DEAR GOD!!! Horrifying! So it’s up to the ‘patient’ and ‘care-giver’ to decide what to do with the born-alive infant laying helpless on the table? Is this the abortionist version of the ‘five second’ rule where the baby’s only been out of the mom for a few moments so we can still end it’s life?
I am sick to my stomach. What a monster this woman is!!!
Glad the meds are helping her!!! That is excellent news:) And it’s good that we get so emotional over our furry family members. They are such a big part of our lives.

Thank you for the prayers Ladysmith! I’ve been praying too. She looked so forlorn when I left her yesterday. Tore my heart out to leave here there. She is really Mr S’s dog, but I’ve grown pretty attached to her too.

The “energy update”...our gas (PA) should raise none cents per gallon. Forty cents in CA is crushing. How can anyone but the very rich absorb that cost?
Now our energy “here.” All the coal plants Dear Leader is taking down, that power has to come from somewhere...and no one is explaining where the replacement power is coming from. Quite frankly, Corbett seems to squishy (too many concessions as always to the eastern part of state) to fight for coal. Going to son’s school and back over weekend...nothing but gas drills and coal barges along OH Rt 7. We need coal...not goofy feel “green” energies.
Mr S bought the materials to build an onion box. Last time we planted in an onion box, the onions were really nice! We go dumpster-diving at the recycling center and get lots of newspapers and compost and do a ‘lasagna garden’ in the box. Soil is nice and fluffy.
We can’t wait to get to Lowes for (more) gardening supplies too!

For those of us listening to WPGB—did Yinz hear the newsbreak—Casey now supports gay marriage. I guess it took this many days for his staff to “teach” him what he is supposed to say. And we think our jobs are sometimes difficult—imagine talking Bobby C thru an talking point?!?
