Mexico drug cartels sending top agents to run crime rings deep inside U.S. territory, AP finds

Mexican drug cartels whose operatives once rarely ventured beyond the U.S. border are dispatching some of their most trusted agents to live and work deep inside the United States — an emboldened presence that experts believe is meant to tighten their grip on the world's most lucrative narcotics market and maximize profits.

If left unchecked, authorities say, the cartels' move into the American interior could render the syndicates harder than ever to dislodge and pave the way for them to expand into other criminal enterprises such as prostitution, kidnapping-and-extortion rackets and money laundering.

Cartel activity in the U.S. is certainly not new. Starting in the 1990s, the ruthless syndicates became the nation's No. 1 supplier of illegal drugs, using unaffiliated middlemen to smuggle cocaine, marijuana and heroin beyond the border or even to grow pot here.

But a wide-ranging Associated Press review of federal court cases and government drug-enforcement data, plus interviews with many top law enforcement officials, indicate the groups have begun deploying agents from their inner circles to the U.S. Cartel operatives are suspected of running drug-distribution networks in at least nine non-border states, often in middle-class suburbs in the Midwest, South and Northeast.

"It's probably the most serious threat the United States has faced from organized crime," said Jack Riley, head of the Drug Enforcement Administration's Chicago office.

“It’s probably the most serious threat the United States has faced from organized crime.....”

Perhaps, but only if you don’t count Obama, his media, the filthy democrats and many of the GOP.

So the Italian Mob is going to have to mop up the Mexican mob? How do I get Guido & Sonny to move to Phoenix?

We’ve ceded a sizable chunk of Arizona to the cartels; warning signs of illegal trafficking were posted on public lands 60 miles from the border. We’ve had several ranchers, Border Patrol agents and a Sheriff shot by illegals.

And a rancher sued into bankruptcy because he had had the audacity to hold a batch of illegals at gunpoint for the Border Patrol. That one was particularly galling.

Oh, my wife's Brother in Law. They beat him to death with baseball bats about 100 miles north of the border. "Our Territory."

The drug cartels are also responsible for, “McLelland and his wife, Cynthia, were found shot to death in their home Saturday.”

Some are saying the Aryan Brotherhood is responsible. But only because they are scared sh1tless about this tying back to Fast and Furious.

Stay tuned. This will get very interesting.

If the Dem’s with this power confirm the CIFTA treaty it will be the 2 nd shot heard around the world. It is clearly unconstitutional on it’s face.

But by what power did Obozo fire the President of General Motors? They have no respect for the rule of Law.

“Welcome to New Kenya (Africa U.S.A.) Where the law of the jungle has replaced the Law of the Land!”

The Brand would have no problems taking money for doing what they would do anyway. I’m not saying they did, just that it wouldn’t be the first time.

So now we know what ‘Fast & Furious’ was for.. Eric Holder armed the drug Cartels in Mexico for eventual cross border trips into the United States to reap havoc with their heavy weapons to cause ‘outrage against guns’ and to rally the American public into supporting gun bans.

Drugs were the undoing of Cosa Nostra. If the Mob is smart this time around they will simply tax the cartels and let them take the fall and rat each other out.

I've heard AB is often the contractors hired out for the Mexican Mafia's hits. Common enemy in prison - black gangs.

Not sure how true that is, but that's what I've heard.

It never occurred to me that “Collateral” wasn't a crime thriller but actually a documentary.

“What a great story. I'll tell the folks in Culiacan and Bogota that story.
You know the people in Culiacan and Bogota?
Fraid so”

Vincent to Daniel the Jazzman in “Collateral”
