“As is surely, very plainly evident over the last twelve years, the attitude of, “If we don’t report it didn’t happen.” and “If we constantly harp on something it can influence an election.” has served the interests of the progressives in politics and the media very well.”

I guess it brings back the old saying if a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it does it really fall?

The truth is it did fall, but the political answer in a large “democracy” is the tree still stands. The reverse is also true in a large “democracy” If everyone “hears” a tree fall in the forest then a tree is said to have fallen whether there be any tree on the ground or not.

You control the media with a uniform message of your choosing and you control everything. This is more or less what Obama has with respect to most of our ‘federation’.

Conditions may have to get bad enough for long enough that even the poor saps watching MSNBC will start to look elsewhere for facts.
