The ChiComs could easily control the NK’s they just like having them as an irritant and distraction to the US and the West. Usually when the NK’s get too out of control the Chinese turn off the gas pipe and food for a few weeks and they calm down.

The Norkies sweep into South Korea, and take the entore peninsula with the CHICOMS close behind.
Result? Japan would shitting even more nickles and the USA is no longer the major force in the West Pacific. Taiwan would be next, and the Chinese would be well on the way to making their currecy the standard used as reserve currency in World Trade instead of the US dollar.
