What followed was a commercial with some guy talking about how he hunts and has taught his kids to hunt blah blah blah. He ended by saying he supports the 2A but to keep guns out of the hands of criminals or mental deficients we need to have expanded background checks. Then he said he was Dan Coats, Senator from Indiana and call his number to show support for enhanced background checks.
