Well, I suppose if the headline said “The Media Take on Michele Bachmann is hurting the GOP” it might be closer to the truth. They love to take her out of context and paint her as the ulta-right bogeywoman who secretly runs the GOP. A take which doesnt survive even cursory analysis, but since most Americans are hard-pressed to finish reading a headline, much less an article, it does have the effect the media wants; demonizing Bachmann, splintering the opposition against the Left into small fragments, and generally sowing discord among those who would like to move the country forward.
They fear conservative women.

I was in Michele’s corner until she betrayed Sarah Palin.
The first day out of the gate, Michele’s newly appointed campaign manager (for President) went after Palin hot and heavy. To make it worse, Michele made her campaign manager apologize to Sarah personally .. but Michele never made a public apoligy to Sarah .. and that really bothered me.
I was stunned by Michele’s actions. Sarah had supported and helped Michele all during her campaign .. and this betrayal told me not to follow Michele anymore.
Funny thing, when Michele visited with Trump - He later made a comment about her “being disloyal”.
O’reilly trashing Bachmann? That’s an endorsement as far as I’m concerned.
Bachmann has been under attack by the roveios of the rino party for quite a while now.....we will see if she can survive. My real question is why are they all so hot to trash her???
