Good morning n’@ everyone....exhausted here too. Great weekend, but to/from OH son’s school on Friday; whirlwind on Saturday; up super early to make Easter Brunch then take kiddo back to OH and then drive home yesterday evening. Mercifully im off today....but somehow need groceries again...HS off but gotta get that one to/from MANADATORY TRack practice, so not even an hour of catch up sleep.
Yoi. Did Yinz hear about Sid? What a hit he took on Saturday...out indefinitely. And add in his history of concussion symptoms. Scary stuff.
Called off today. Got to get the doggie to the vet. She hasn’t eaten since yesterday morning, drinks water and then throws it up immediately. Been laying on her bed almost all day yesterday. The only thing that got her up was when family came. She dragged herself to the door and wagged her tail, weakly, when somebody came to the door. It was heartbreaking to witness. She was happy they were there but couldn’t muster the strength to jump up and down with excitement like she did before. We had a wonderful family get-together yesterday, and she got lots of attention.
Shocking about Sid! I saw it on the news this morning! That was quite a break!
Son and wife going to try to get tickets to a Pens game. Also, a friend of son’s works for some company that serves the Heinz and PNC stadiums. He wants to try to get son part time work with them. Son is waiting to get settled in to his current job - which he really likes - and then get a part time job to supplement that income. If he gets the job, he’ll be able to watch the Steeler games!

Good $$$ w/Aramark! Our travel baseball program did a fund raiser for years there (I worked it). The “pay” for a concession stand or beer kiosk service workers went to our kids fees/hotels. It added it up quickly and I got middle son to also work there for a season (when my two youngest overlapped in the league). Amazing how much money people spend at those games. I (w/another mom) would work outside at a beer kiosk (mom looking women can get away w/cutting off a drunk patron). Had to take alcohol training glasses. The great part was we were done first as they cut the taps at beginning of 3q.
I love our new Pope too! I think he is the right man for this time.
I will, GB. They will see her at 1:00 I’m taking her to Dr. Blais. Prayers will be greatly appreciated for her. :-(
