I live in Kaufman county. It so happens that one on my friend's wife worked with the DA's wife at the Terrell State Hospital. She is in shock now as you might imagine. The Sheriff's Dept. is being very tight-lipped.

We heard that several ".223 casings" were recovered at the scene but there is very little in the way of factual information out there. Most believe that all of this is the work the Mexican cartels or the Aryan Brotherhood and all are shook up and scared.

What are you basing this on?

In one sentence you're suggesting there is little factual information and in the next your naming suspects/organizations.

Sound like pure speculation to me.

I live in Austin and the Chief of Police has said just last week that the drug cartels are a big threat here in Central Texas. It really is very frightening to say the least.

From one report for what it’s worth.

Late Saturday night, sources said a .223-caliber assault rifle, similar to an AR-15, was used in the murders, with approximately 14 rounds being fired.

I am from Texas. I live in Dallas County. I drive through Kaufman County often to get to my parents house in East Texas. Kaufman is such a lovely small town county. I think you are right. It is either Mexican Cartel’s or White Supremisist group. They better get to the bottom of this and put constant protection around the rest of their DA’s in Kaufman.

This is a little too close to home for me as well. We have property and a home about 9 miles north of Terrell and pay school taxes to Kaufman county. Stuff like this isn’t supposed to happen in the country and it’s darn scary.

ping to follow up later...

There seems a likely link between the cartels and the AB prison gangs...coincidences happen less often than people think, IMHO.

Prayers up for Kaufman county residents and ALL, for safety, security, and peace of mind to sleep at night!
