Wrong.
Carson already stands for something - - that's precisely why the faggot lobby has targeted him. The best thing he can do is shrug and walk away, thereby denying the faggots the noisy public fight they want. Carson's handling of this is perfect - - he puts it right back on the John Hopkins faggots and the John Hopkins normals to figure out.

I’m glad the Apostle Paul didn’t think like that. If he had backed away during the days of the early Church the Word might not have spread as it did.

I understand Carson’s motivation but his decision-making is suspect. Especially in the context of a party structure that hates them, social conservatives need to stand firm now more than ever.

Johns Hopkins normals? Well maybe-—but if there are any they’d best be speaking up to shut down the queerhuggers. Otherwise Hopkins can flush its reputation also.
