ASHEVILLE — The Asheville Citizen Times is reporting that police on Wednesday charged an Asheville midwife with killing an unborn child through a mishandled delivery.

Tina Louise Bailey, 44, of Craig Circle Drive, provided medical services to a woman in labor in July, according to an arrest warrant. Those included catheterization and internal obstetrical examinations, police said. Bailey also gave medical advice without the training to do so, investigators said.

I don’t believe you. No man would give two pigs.

My point is: things can go wrong with giving birth, even in a hospital.

Of course things can go wrong.

But when home births go wrong, you go to the hospital. When you deliver in a hospital, you're already there.

Other than cost, I don't see the benefit of home births. I would never expose my child or my wife to those risks, even if the risk was remote.

My daughter in OR had her baby at home with midwife just fine. Hospitals and Doc have accidents too.

Our two babies were born in a hospital for the same reasons as yours. And my knees were weak and I couldn’t speak intelligibly for hours — just from watching my wife give birth in the birthing suite. What times those were!

I think you know I was kidding you initially. Your safe birth was worth more than many pigs.

liberal logic

The mother wanted the baby = unborn child = murder charges

Mother doesn’t want the baby? = product of conception = noble right found ummm...somewhere in the constitution
