Two wealthy German states have filed a lawsuit in the countrys highest court challenging a system under which money is redistributed to less prosperous regions.
Bavarias state government said it and the state of Hesse filed the suit Monday with the Federal Constitutional Court.
The system is supposed to help ensure equal living conditions nationwide.

Bavaria was never conquered by the Germans and only signed a treaty to co-exist as one nation with the option to leave the country any time it wanted to. The Germanic people could never keep up with the people in the hills and got crushed every time they tried to invade.
