No idea. Especially since, as I just explained, the word Hispanic has no meaning whatsoever in terms of race. It’s laughable. You should hear black ”Hispanics” commenting about black Americans as ”los negros” and ”monkeys” as if they themselves are not black.
Based upon the following definition of Hispanic from Wikipedia would it be fair to say that Luis Santiago, the boys father, is Hispanic:

Ego is a stubborn force. Rather than concede to a more informed source, you resort to a ridiculous wiki article - but even that makes my point for me. There is no racial or even ethnic identity conveyed by the word Hispanic - it refers broadly to people of Iberian descent throughout the former Spanish empire, and also includes the full-blooded indiginous Indian tribes of South America, some of whom speak Spanish now, as well as full blooded Africans descended from the slaves brought to the former Spanish empire.
For the third time: therefore, calling someone Hispanic is utterly meaningless as a racial or ethnic designation, because it could mean any of the above, and/or any of the above in combination with Iberians.
From looking at the photo of the child, I draw the conclusion that the father has mixed blood, with at least one mulato grandparent.

My family’s surname is Hispanic. We are considered “Caucasion” when we check the race form. Hispanic is not a race by government standards.
What difference does it make? If we were purple, it doesn’t mean we deserve to have out babies shot in the face in the street. NOBODY, and this includes all races, cultures, and creeds should have to live in fear of being gunned down in the streets by feral thugs.
Take up your argument with wikipedia. Black and white are not races either.

I have not seen photographs of the father. His last name suggests nothing other than that an ancestor was Iberian. He could be any of the.varieties of AfroCaribbean - negro, mulato, mulato claro, mulato-chino, blanco capiro, jabado, etc. from Puerto Rico, Cuba, the D.R. or Venezuela; he could be a Spanish immigrant, he could have been born in Argentina as the great-grandson of a Spaniard and have had a mother of German descent, he could be half-Indian from Ecuador or Guatamala, Honduras,.Mexico,.El Salvador or Peru....he could be a Chicano. The last name in of itself does not inform his racial make up. I know several people with the same Spanish last name who are of different races and from different countries.
So then when can I use the word “Hispanic”???
Now we are getting somewhere. You may of course use whatever word you like whenever you like. But, as I have thoroughly demonstrated, it is a bogus word created by the left to market the idea of an underprivileged constituency. It has no application to race, ethnicity, culture, food or music. Mostly it is used by bureaucrats committing fraud and by Latin Americans in the US who are of mixed blood - i.e., brown-skinned as a way to avoid being classified as Negro. This is especially true of AfroCaribbeans who are Negro.

I haven’t even watched any of her interviews, but I will, and then I’ll feel more confident one way or the other. I am a pretty good judge of people and a decent body language reader. I wonder of there are any expert freepers who could read her body language and tell us. That’d be interesting...
