At least our wonderful governor says he is "not comfortable" with a law that would affect guns that people have already purchased.

I hope Colt bolts and most of its workeres are capable of moving with them.If they do the will look back on the move as a bleesing in disguise as this state is well on its way down the crapper

>could pull up its Connecticut stakes

Could? If they are not actively in the process of moving by now, then there is no hope for them. They needed to leave as soon as CT proved they were stuck on stupid.

I am certain that Governor Perry has already directly contacted Colt’s management encouraging them to act like my ancestors when they went GTT. (Gone To Texas)

One of my ancestors was born in Texas during The Republic.

Colt has been in Connecticut a long time, but many here have that kind of tradition and the State Texas and it’s citizens truly love and appreciate firearms manufacturers.

Come join us.

Move all of them to Texas. This is great all the producers are moving to Southern Free States leaving takers in the Liberal states to go even more bankrupt. In the end this is Atlas Shrugged starting to play out.

But he'd "adjust," wouldn't he?

Colt pistols first proved themselves in battle against the Commanche indians in Texas. The company would be most welcome here.

I’ll bet there are some southern states that would LOVE to have Colt. With Tax advantages, too!

Colt and others including the Ammo Manufacturers need to grow some balls and tell them if you pass a law restricting our rights to do business with American Citizens you better find another supplier of your Weapons and Ammo. Then stand by it. No weapons or AMMO to ANY governmental Agency in that state.

Then close the doors and MOVE.

Other CT gun makers (besides Colt) that may want to consider the “free world” elsewhere:

1. Colt Defense LLC
2. Colt's Manufacturing Co.
3. Charter Arms Co.
4. Stag Arms co.
5. O.F. Mossberg & Sons
6. Marlin Firearms Co.
7. Strum Ruger Co.
8. United States Firearm Mfg. Co.

I wonder what the governor would say if they all moved out? Colt brings in $1.7 billion into the state of CT alone. I wonder how much the others contribute? Gov. Malloy is a putz of epic proportions. With an 8.2 percent unemployment rate, the governor is courting a politician-made disaster.

I hope there comes a time when not only gun and ammo producers bolt Blue States, they refuse to sell in them as well.
