Congratulations, Hickenlooper... 600 good jobs gone. You and the rest of the dems in Coloradical have yourselves to blame.

Coincidentally, the local gun shop is selling PMags w/ window for $17.99 each.

I guess that now people in Colorado will have to do what Californians do - go to gun shows in neighboring states to buy mags.

Note to the author: The Berlin Airlift took place AFTER WWII, not during.

Democrats won’t care about the loss of jobs.
They will be happy to add 400 - 600 people to the government plantation unemplyment/welfare roles.

Democrat politicians are suspicious of people who don’t take government money anyway.
Those who work and earn a living in private industry are just too darned independent and hard to control.

Another story from today's paper:

Gunmaker packs up after Colo. control bill signed

Newly-assembled 30-round capacity ammunition magazines for high-velocity rifles are stacked awaiting packaging

(snip)

Magpul may be the first firearms-related business to relocate as a result of state gun-control laws, but it probably won’t be the last. Companies in Connecticut, Maryland and New York are considering moves to more gun-friendly pastures as their state legislatures act on restrictive firearms measures similar to those pushed through by state Democrats here.

Founded in 1999, Magpul stands as a relative newcomer to the firearms business, but even companies with hundreds of years of history in their states may look to relocate as a result of political shifts.

In New York, where Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed laws banning so-called assault weapons and limiting magazine capacity to seven rounds, venerable gun manufacturer Remington Arms is being wooed by officials in at least a half-dozen other states.

“We are carefully evaluating our options,” Teddy Novin, marketing director for Remington parent company Freedom Group, Inc., told the Utica Observer-Dispatch in January.

Magpul has already shipped part of the “Boulder Airlift” to CO residents.

This gun control, political stunt should help us clear Colorado of the Dems in 2014.

Hickenlooper is right up there with Gov. MoonBeam, Cuomo and Bloomberg. Idiot traitors all.

I am sure MagPul got a personal call from Gov. Perry. For MagPul this may turn into the best thing that ever happened to the company. When they say multi-state operation it implies expansion.

Eat dirt lefties.

Don’t miss the forest for the trees. The real aim of these unenforceable laws is to force registration and confiscation.
First, (Bloomberg thinking) undocumented firearm transfers are legal in all states surrounding Colorado and there is no provision for registering firearms you lawfully own, yet.
Second, magazines do not bear dates of manufacture and citizens are under no obligation to inform the government of the date of their acquisition.
Third, The only people who will be substantially affected are the those without means of personal transportation, retail sellers in Colorado and persons wishing to make online purchases. (The law is inherently discriminatory against minorities.)
Bad laws with bad intent need to be exposed.

blamed political currents outside Colorado for the legislature’s gun-control package

Don't forget about all those scumbag kalifornians who, when they tire of the socialist dump they created for themselves, move to greener pastures. Only to turn said greener pastures into yet another socialist sewer. Cf Oregon, Washington State, Colorado, Austin, Tulsa, ad infinitum.

In 10 years NY, CO, and the rest of the bottomfeeder states are going to look like Detroit. Just a burned out shell of what they once were.

Make no mistake, the Red state governors are making a concerted recruiting effort to bring successful businesses and manufacturers to their states. Lots of behind the scenes deals being offered. Will be a win-win situation for the businesses and the free states.

Good. I’ve been buying more and more Magpul items since I heard about their plans to leave, as well as their stance about not selling to LEO’s in states with disparate gun laws for citizen and LE.

Lickenpuker and his cronies will destroy Colorado. It will be for the elite only. The only jobs will be serving them at restaurants and ski resorts.
