While Dr. Carson, 61, said that there were better candidates out there, he did not rule out a presidential run in 2016. Certainly if a year and a half went by and there was no one on the scene and people are still clamoring, I would have to take that into consideration, he said in the interview. I would never turn my back on my fellow citizens.

Ben, why do you think cities need to be disarmed? He needs to read the Constitution.
From everything I have learned of Dr. Carson, I understand his street perceptions of the gun issue but I am sure he will educate himself further on this and other issues with regards to the Constitution. He has shown in the past that when he senses he is not properly informed on an issue, he makes it his personal challenge to learn as much about it as possible.
I don’t endorse him for President at this point but I do endorse his conservatism and more-so, his propensity to use common sense over political correctness.
A few more percentage points from Latinos, a few from African-Americans (whatever), what could go wrong?
:-?
I remember when a lot of people were all dreamy about Colin Powell, Carl Rove et al. I’m not saying Dr. Carson is a Powell or a Rove but sometimes some may be too quick to jump on a band wagon.
Leftists save their most vile attacks for blacks and women.
Romney had a big "kick me" sign posted permanently on his back side.
you are 100% correcto!
Too many may be jumping on his band wagon without fully checking things out. Time will tell.
Remember the huckster?
I’m not ready to drink the Kool Aid on this guy yet.
Its as simple as that.
He certainly seems like a good man and I appreciate his having the courage to upbraid Obama on a national stage (God knows we need FAR more of that), but I’m holding my enthusiasm in check. More needs to be known about him.
I will say this, however... if he does make a run for the Presidency, he’d better know the left will do all it possibly can to destroy him. Gloria Allred has probably already gotten the go-ahead to start inventing some “victims” to parade in front of the cameras just in case.
Puhleeese, are you not sick of these school girl crushes on unproven and potential failures as Presidential candidates? Remember Mr 999 Cain, Amnesty lover Rubio, dubazz Paul...we need to cut the President down to size and abide by the constitution literally and strip a lot of the Executive over reach ASAP!
Sounds like another loser taking his que from the democrats?
More needs to be known about him.
I’m sure the democrats will inform us, even if it’s true or not.
I don’t know what to think about Ben Carson. He seems like a great man but the media is going soft on him. Usually, like we saw with Rand Paul’s fillibuster, they attack first and ask questions later. Why no attack? Because of that alone, I put Dr. Carson in the “need to find out more about him” catagory.
Here is an example from the HuffPo (who attacks all things conservative) doing a very good job of just reporting (I know, when was the last time you saw that?):

So right now, all I can say is that I need to find out a lot more about him.
I agree with Rush that Democrats are scared to death of Dr. Carson precisely because he has the ability to reach people, deeply, without appearing to have an agenda. The media is building him up with the eventual expectation of tearing him down but the media didn’t create Ben Carson and they therefore won’t be able to easily destroy him — at least not in the vain of Palin and Cain, etc.
