One of Alinsky’s major themes was working with the world as it “is” to turn it into the world as “it should be.”

Or, as Fat Teddy put it, eulogizing and quoting his brother in 1968,

"Some men see things as they are and say why.
I dream things that never were and say why not."

I say, WTF?

We need no Alinskys, no Kennedys, no stinkin' Obamas!

Late Libertarian/Gay talk show host from Boston David Brudnoi noted after reading Atlas Shrugged and becoming a Libertarian and hearing JFK's "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" it hit him as Fascistic and hated that line...

You know the more you think about it, it may be prudent to look @ anything the Kennedy's, Clinton's etc say that is quotable and find out what is the quotes real roots and where are they going with it....
