While President Obama’s administration has suggested that the Secret Service is to blame for the closure of White House tours, the onus now falls on the Democrat-controlled Senate. On Wednesday, Democrats rejected a Republican attempt to reopen the White House tours in a straight party-line vote. 54 Democrats voted against reopening the tours. None have voted to defund President Obama’s golf trips. The amendment, sponsored by Senator Tom Coburn, required 60 votes to pass.

It’s weird that we’ve got money for Barry the Sequesterer to go to Israel for a campaign photo op. Those knuckleheads in DC really need to try to get their priorities straight.
But it’s okay for Michelle to take her daughter, 12 of her friends and their families, two airplanes, 25 secret service members, and numerous vehicles to Mexico for spring break.
The Democrats think the public is going to clamor for more federal spending because the White House tours are closed. They are plain stupid.
Could be more sinister; the White House is now the Imperial Palace, off limits to mere mortals. They want it that way.
To the Liberal Democrat, the White House doesn’t belong to ‘We the People’.
Perhaps it shouldn’t be opened to the public.
There are probably homosexual orgies and gerbil races in the hallways.
