I live in Washington....the idiocy of the voters is beyond explanation....

but we've had rat controlled governorships for 30yrs now...its the public unions, its the the indian casino money, and its the private Boeing workers who think their bread is buttered by the rats...

we don't have income tax....we live in a great area...my kids are in the NW....

but if they weren't..we'd be moving to Idaho......

Bet Colorado regrets the gun grab and the loss of 400 jobs, plus those who make a living selling to those 400 households.

Not a chance they will regret it. It's an insignificant sacrifice as far as they're concerned.

They won’t regret it immediately, but will in the future. Similar circumstances to Californicate in the 70s where they had tingles down their legs when they started closing the military bases. A few years later after quite a few were closed and the impact started to sink in financially, the screaming and crying started. Watching Colorado from Texas I see the same thing happening. We quit visiting friends in Colorado and New Mexico several years ago after they started turning progressive.

Kimber should get out of NY and Stag Arms should leave CT.

I have had 10 Pmags on backorder since December. I hope they arrive before the Zombie Apocalypse.

Somebody who commutes from a 4000 square foot house in the suburbs in a $70,000 car couldn’t care less about losing a few politically incorrect jobs.

Precisely. They don't care.

In a state of several million people, the loss of 400 jobs in a politically-incorrect industry won't cost the Governor a thing.

I ordered quite a bit of new reloading equipment and components in January. It was in stock (2 vendors), one took almost 4 weeks to ship, they were that overloaded with orders. The other shipped quickly but I only ordered 2 items from them that were not available anywhere else in the US. (obscure caliber)

I do not have it all set up in the shop yet, but am relieved that I have what I need to reload almost all of our guns. (extended family)

Don’t shoot exotics, did not order a single rifle, already had what I wanted. Brass was very hard to find, bought once-fired and filled the void where I could not buy new brass. Bought a number of boxes of the basics as I found them in small gun shops. Prices were not bad, but are up since then.

I did not buy the reloading supplies because it was cheaper, but I have a way to be assured I will have the needed ammo in the future. Besides, I might need to hunt to feed the family if the Global Financial Mess really collapses. Felt the expenditure had more potential for value than in the bank.

All patriot blue states should inform the neo-nazi Hickenlooper that he’s persona non grata and will be barred from entering patriot blue states.

Patriot Blue States. I like that, hated from the beginning of the media slam of patriots to be colored RED. RED is for COMDEMs.

"...Don’t shoot exotics..."

I had, for a number of years, been trying to streamline my 'collection' to a select few calibers I *knew* would always be available. I was having a fair degree of success until last summer I was at a show and saw a used Delta Elite at a very, very attractive price. I had owned one years ago, really liked it, and so I picked it up.

Since last December, 10mm has been generally easier to find and has not suffered similar price increased to the calibers I *knew* would always be readily available.

While I suppose it's not exactly an 'exotic,' it is something of an off beat round. Lesson learned: if we ever get back to anything like normal re: the availability of arms and ammo, I would recommend that folks keep at least one firearm in a less popular chambering, i.e. .38 Super, .41 Magum, .257 Roberts, .300 Savage, etc. simply because there will be times when the demand on them is substantially less than everything else out there.

Your logic makes sense to me.

Have never shot a 300 Savage, but understand it is pretty potent.

Only handgun I own is my Remington XP100 221 Fireball. Love that little gun.

Guess at some point I might by a hand gun. We have several in the family, but I have been looking at 45’s. There is no issue with them on knockdown. Guess 44 Mag is similar.

Right now I am occupied at reloading the basics for what I already have. Praying that this washes out. If it does not, this is going to be a bumpy ride.
