The text of Dr. Badies letter is as follows:
To His Eminence Pope Francis, head of the Vatican State,
I offer my affectionate heartfelt congratulations on your election by the College of Cardinals as Bishop of Rome and leader of the Catholic Church. I hope this will be the start of a new era of convergence and harmony among believers in divine laws, spreading noble human values ?? all over the world, to achieve lasting peace and security for all, with cooperation among all religious institutions especially Al-Azhar of Egypt.
Dr. Mohamed Badie
Muslim Brotherhood Chairman
I noticed that they sat the Muslims and Jews together today at the Installation Mass.
Well, they certainly agree on the place of women as official clerics, also gay sex.
I'm sure they will integrate this into the system:
There is no salvation by anyone else, for there is no other name (Jesus) under heaven given among people by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12
When Muslims sit with anyone, the anyone is done. Isalm is pure evil. There are no moderate islams. Never have been. Ever.
I was going to mention taqiyya, but upon re-reading that statement I think it was styled as a "good luck with that global tolerance and peace stuff" jab.
The next time I get to Rome I’ll have to be more observant. I remember holy cards, rosaries, and other religious objects in the Vatican gift shops, but don’t remember the ties. Maybe they would make nice gifts.
