Legislation to create a Minnesota marketplace for buying health insurance cleared a final hurdle Monday, March 18. The state Senate voted 39-28 along party lines to send the DFL-sponsored bill for a health exchange to Gov. Mark Dayton for his expected signature. The exchange is meant to make it easier for people to buy coverage, all while helping increase the number of people with insurance. The 2010 federal health care overhaul law of 2010 calls on state-level exchanges to be operating by October. "This is a cornerstone of the federal Affordable Care Act," said Sen. I doubt Priceline spends $70 million a year to maintain their website.
I know Priceline or Travelocity don't have an unelected board of 7 bureaucrats deciding what is a good deal and who should be allowed in as carriers.
Reality is going to hit my former State very hard when it all comes tumbling down. The Dayton/Dem control years will not be recovered from.
All the better for the western side of WI if we can keep the Walker reforms up!
Rats keep this up(gun control,in-state tuition for crimaliens,DL’s for crimaliens, tax increases, choo choo trains everywhere) ,I may move to WI or SD.
When it all hits the fan, and it inevitably will, we’ll know who to blame. Unfortunately, the Minnesota Republican Party is in such disarray that adult opposition to Governor Jim Beam is too few and far between.

If the Medtronics, Boston Scientifics, 3M’s in the Twin Cities suffer as expected due to Obamacare you can bet that it’ll be a steady stream. It will be interesting to see what will happen up there if the huge tax base that the Twin Cities has lived on for a couple of decades suddenly retracts at a rate they never expected.
May even wake up a lot of my non political friends up there.
Dammit. Knew it was coming, and I’d love to move out, but we’ve settled into our new house. I just don’t know what to do. This state is going to go to hell in a hand basket. I may have to move whether I want to or not in the future.
God, please put some sense into Minnesotans, pleas! Let’s get this turned around.
