Last month, the Senate Judiciary Committee held its first hearing on immigration reform, which featured testimony from Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas, an undocumented worker from the Philippines who went public with his status in an article published in June 2011 in The New York Times.

"Immigration is about our future," Vargas said during his opening remarks. "Immigration is about all of us, and before we take your questions, I have a few of my own: What do you want to do with me? For all the undocumented immigrants who are actually sitting here at this hearing, for the people watching online and for the 11 million of us, what do you want to do with us?"

I never thought in this life time I would see an illegal alien demanding answers from Senate Judiciary Committee ? Just why hasn't the gov arrested Vargas for fraudulent documents, lying to get drivers licenses, how many I-9 tax forms did he give untruthful information on under perjury of law ? How many sets of illegal IDs has this guy used ? How many times after coming out as an illegal alien has he been pulled over for no drivers licenses/insurance ? In many of these stops they may of taken him to the police station but hours later he walks away with all charges dropped and he asks... What do you want to do with me? How about 30 years in a federal penitentiary is what they should saying back to him. Then we will deport you and ban you from this country forever. Is this country going backwards or what ? Well known law breakers who broke state and federal laws are invited to speak to Senate Judiciary Committee who is looking to Jose Antonio Vargas, for answers on "Immigration ?

Remember from Michelle Malkin... an undocumented workerJose Antonio Vargas. Michelle Malkin.. posts a link to The documentation that Vargas obtained over the years - a fake green card, a fake passport, a driver's license - allowed him to remain in the U.S. In Oregon, a friend provided a mailing .. He look very well documented to me.address...http://www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2011/06/26/magazine/26illegal2.html

Our leaders in the state and federal government are gutless, self serving & generally disgusting. I cannot stand the sight of them.

It is really hard for me to accept that they are a reflection of us.

Good post. I’m with you...I NEVER thought I’d see the day when illegals were allowed to make demands to our Senate Judiciary Committee.
