"There's a swirl that the devil character in "The Bible" TV show is a thinly veiled President Obama"
For the life of me I just can't figureout who should be more offended, 'Bama' or Satan? ;-)

This really creeped me out. I don't have TV but I woke up to this picture first thing this morning. I thought it was a joke, a photo shopped picture of Obama, like those that I see everyday.
I want to know how long it took for the casting company to come up with the “devil” actor. Was he a first choice or did they go through many people to find him. Was this deliberate or something else.

Burnett believes the real devil is scared that Jesus has now entered the picture and is trying to distract from Jesus' message by creating a false story. Burnett says, "What could be more annoying to Satan than talking about Jesus?" Burnett makes a good point.
Our pastor made a similar comment yesterday, when speaking of the 'Pope'. Our pastor comes from Argentina, and claims he heard this on a Spanish broadcast, but I haven't heard the report elsewhere, so I don't know if something got garbled in the translation. But basically our pastor said when the new 'Pope' was asked about homosexual marriages and abortion, he responded, 'We won't talk about Satan [and his works], but we will talk about Christ'. If true, that is very commendable. A perfect response. It states that Sodomite marriages and abortion are the work of Satan, and it also states the primary point -- our focus is to be on the Lord Jesus Christ. We are to point people to the Light, and not to spend all of our time talking about the darkness.
We need to warn people of the wrath to come, but the main part of our talk should be on our Saviour, what He has done for us, and how we should love Him and serve Him with all of our hearts and abilities.

All this will turn out to be is free publicity that may actually get Libs to tune in (just to see the resemblance). Maybe they will even learn a few things! (The Lord works in mysterious ways)
