THE EU is the king - the nation-banks are the feudal landlords - guess who the peasants be? How dare the citizenry expect those in debt to take a loss to their margins when all those yummy savings are there to be tithed? Can you say 401(k)? I knew you could.
Why does anyone there have more than the bare minimum to pay the monthly bills in the bank? It’s not like this was some big unexpected surprise.
Look for bank executives & politicians to be found dead if not publicly executed by pissed off Cypriots but also the Russian mob who have been laundering money thru the banks in Cyprus. Ivan will not stand by & watch 9.9% of their money snatched from them to be spent by crooked politicians without getting somebody’s head on a sharpened stick if for nothing else that shits ,grins & giggles.
