The GOP’s problem is that they really suck at marketing themselves and being able to overcome the stereotype of the typical Republican as an old rich white guy on the golf course.
There are a number of problems that plague the conservative movement and the GOP in general such as:
*Excessive romanticization of the 1950s. There has been a persistent tendency among the right in America to act as if Leave It To Beaver was a documentary instead of a TV sitcom.
*Excessive focus on social issues to the detriment of hard economic/political ones. They should not of course be abandoned completely since it’s still necessary to get the votes of the South and other areas.
*Trying to run unqualified nonwhite candidates for the sole purpose of advertising the GOP as welcoming to minorities. When there is actually a black guy like Alan West who was legit, he gets thrown under the bus.
*Having virtually indistinguishable positions from the Democrats on free trade and using the military as world police

Tell me just how is the GOPe any different ( except in terms of execution) than the Liberal RATS? I mean the RATs keep trying the same tired liberal crap over and over saying that it will work and the only reason that it hasn’t is because it’s never been done properly. The GOPe is just the same. They keep re-running their same old tired BS that doesn’t work either. They end up loosing though because they are not good at “the free Sh!t” stuff. RATs aren’t “principled,” but they are far more “effective” once they get a chance to lead than the GOPe is on it’s best day! From the look of the GOPe, you’d swear that Step and Fetch It was White!
Basically this. The GOP should be less pepsodent and adult diapers and more Budweiser, Dominoes, and Buffalo Wild Wings. And it wouldn’t hurt to throw in some Victoria’s Secret and McDonalds as well.
Wrong! We do not compromise on our God-given unalienable rights!! Period!!
Never give up on Life, Family, Country, Liberty, Constitution!
Never surrender your God, your guns, your Liberty, your rights!!
You give up one right, they’ll start on taking another. It’s a never ending battle against the enemy within, the creeping usurpers!

FR may be one of the last bastions of grassroots conservatives defending our constitution and our American heritage: God, Life, Family, Liberty, guns, Constitutionally limited government, states rights (the tenth amendment), economic freedom, religious freedom, individual freedom, etc., ie, Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness!!
We shall never surrender our island of sanity or our defense of God, Life, Family, Country, Liberty!!
Securing the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity is each generation’s sacred duty!!
