I'm surmising the Fox News Channel brain-trust has calculated the political capital they're gaining by retaining KR the past few years is worth it to them or that it just doesn't really matter anymore.

The more bloated and uglier the FNC brain-trust shows itself, they obviously are concluding that viewers are still drinking FNC's phony Fair\Balanced kool-aid. Maybe their current viewers are, or are watching merely to lust after FNC's lady eye candy.
