If I had to guess I would suggest that Boehner is more of a “trust but verify type” when it comes to Obama. Some of these guys including Boehner have so many interviews its really disingenuous to take a few words out of context and treat them as gospel.

Watching Boehner on ABC now. Boehner agrees with the President that we don't have an immediate debt/deficit problem. He says we don't know how long we have to solve it--one to four years maybe.

What an idiot. The MSM will jump on this. Boehner is the last person who should be negotiating with the Dems. He is part of the Washington establishment. He is not interested in cutting spending.

I don’t know, Rod...

I realize that Boehner is trying to be polite. He probably even thinks he’s the Speaker of all the House, rather than the head of the Republican coalition in the House. Still....

Did Nancy Pelosi ever say she “trusts” George W. Bush?

The democrats and their media are skilled at messaging people, smearing opponents and fighting nasty. The GOP plays by the rules and gets slaughtered.

I’d rather hear Boehner talk about how he opposes Obama and why (that is, Obama is wrong and hurting the country). Never let up on this message.
