The Sunday Morning Bray, by Bray!
This matter arose because some false brothers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the Freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. Gal 2:4
Once again we are seeing the redefinition of the Bill of Rights by the socialists. Our Premier has declared homosexuals have a right to marriage by decree while gun owners have no rights to own weapons to protect themselves in their own homes. We are also going to see a deeper erosion of our freedom of religion against any churches which are not sanctioned by his holiness. Pastors in short order will not have the freedom to declare homosexuality a sin or choose to deny their marriages for fear of tax exemption loss or even jailing.
We will now hear from the Three Pillars how unfair it is for homosexuals not to be married. This message will be carefully managed to make anyone who opposes it is intolerant and a homophobe while those supporting it are more tolerant and fair minded. This fairness does not apply to anyone who believes the Bible is Gods word which says homosexuality is a sin to be avoided. The only thing liberals are intolerant of is anyone who disagrees with them. We are already beginning to hear how churches who believe this are to be shunned and hate homosexuals.
What churches are really saying is they love the sinner but hate the sin no matter which sins. The Bible explains how to lead your life free of your own destruction which is truly Gods love of us.
This is the problem with moral relativism and the cult of liberalism. They can declare anything a sin by their definition and it is immediately decreed and those who disagreed are declared untouchables. They are going to use the same tactics they have used for the last fifty years to mold societal norms. We have an activist movement with a message to change the marriage laws around the country in an attempt to further damage the family. They do not care about the homosexual as much as they do about furthering their communist agenda.
The healthiest way to bring up children is in a stable home where you have both sexes loving each other and sharing the raising of the children. From the childs standpoint when you raise them in a homosexual family you are only giving them only one sexual identity rather than both. You are either make them imbalanced towards the male or female disposition rather than exposing them to both. Just as when you have a single parent raising child he is usually exposed to the mother and is not given the gift of having a male role model. This is part of the reason we have kids growing up with no discipline as the woman is not usually able to provide the necessary discipline both physically or emotionally. Being raised in a female homosexual household only magnifies that issue while males will magnify it the other direction.
The homosexual lifestyle is a very unstable way of living. Statistically they have over a 200% higher level of depression, drug and sexual addictions as well as suicides and health issues. Men have a twenty year lower lifespan due to much higher rates of VD, Mono and Hepatitis C from the obvious cleanliness issues. We are being asked to not only tolerate an unhealthy lifestyle but encouraging people to join it. While we are worried about the questionable effects of large sodas we are promoting a lifestyle which is worse than drinking 20 gallons of coke per day. The difference is one helps promote the liberal agenda and one does not.
So who is going to stand up for our churches? You can already hear from the Republican experts we need to soften our stance so as not to offend the precious moderates and women. Never mind there is no proof that independents and women are going to vote for a Party that is willing to throw Conservatives and churches under the bus when in reality nearly every time it has been put to a vote it loses. No, our genius election managers have found another issue to make yourself look as similar to a Democrat as possible. Rather than being a Party which stands for anything they are making signals they want to surrender once again so they can get elected.
The reality is the only times we have won elections is when we stand for morality and ethics. When we cave on everything and anything like marriage or abortion we go down in flames. Yes, it is more difficult to stand for issues like marriage than to use the time tested clichés like tolerance or fairness, but unless we are willing to stand for a healthy family and lifestyle what will we be willing to stand for. We have to explain to people they are being manipulated by very powerful forces in academia, the media and politics to make it appear there is a consensus when there isnt. This is a war on the church and family which has been fought for decades by the left.
It is time for our leaders to speak out forcefully and clearly about what these moral battles are about. They are at war with the church since the church stands in the way of their communist agenda. The ultimate goal is to close down churches and jail pastors for intolerance to their liberal doxology. This is a battle between two religions and they understand one cannot exist as long as the other does. Until the Repubs articulate this clearly and forcefully the socialists will continue to attack our morals and institutions. If they can make a Big Gulp illegal due to health risks when are we going to address the health risks of homosexuality? When are we going to stand up for our pastors and priests who believe in the word of God? When will our pastors and priests stand up to these intolerant bullies? Until then Christians will stay home just as they did last election and like they will next one too.
Pray for America
Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Brays. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.
I’m surprised John McCain isn’t on all of them.
WHAT????? No John McCain??
Thanks for thread AB. And Happy St Patrick’s Day to you also.
Great sunny Sunday morning All!
Thanks for the thread and ping AB
And where is Lindsey Graham? Hmmmmmmm.
I think Linda is off today trying to get some of John’s Lucky Charms....
Must be a slow news week.
Awwwwwww. I woke up in an alternate reality this morning — one where neither John McCain nor Lindsey Graham was on the Sunday Morning News Talkies.
In this alternate reality, however, Speaker Boehner says, on This Week with Martha Raddis, that he ‘trusts President Obama.’
Yeah, let's talk about the House requests and subpoenas for the Bengazi survivors.
LOL! Post of the day, right here.
Lying communist “Turban Durbin” (his lips are moving) he is definitely begging for a “shovel ready job” (up alongside the head)
Corker is “looking forward to working with his good friend Senator Durbin” (Attn: TEA Party)
I just turned on Fox to hear Wallace ask Durbin what are some of the roadblocks to immigration policy agreement, and Durbin replied: “well, border security is very important to Republicans”.
Wallace blithely moved on to his next question instead of screaming:
“why isn’t border security important to Democrats?”
“Why isn’t border security already important to everyone?”
Matt Kibbe, TEA Party/Freedomworks and Steve “Chucklehead” LaTourette up.
The latter fully a buttboy for the GOP-e.
I like Kibbe.
So Boner “trusts” Bambi? Well isn’t that special?
We Ohioans also “trusted” Rob Portman to act like a conservative when he was handed the seat. He has done nothing for the cause. He did not enlist in the filibuster. He never really speaks out on anything. He has been totally cautious, to the point of cowardice.
But then uncharacteristically comes out for the Gays, with multiple media appearances, guests columns, etc. What is his point? Gays will not love him. Ever. Media may, but he now has no base.
He was supposed to be our “representative”. Ohio has defeated the idea of Gay marriage at the ballot box in overwhelming numbers.
This is tantamonut to the NRA sitting down with Feinstein and Bambi to draw up a blueprint for disarming the entire country. Like the AARP and AMA turned against its membership to support Obamacare. Treachery is in the air.
Mc and Cheezy may be absent this morning, but their media cohorts are playing videos of them this week. So even in their absence we are inundated with their presence.
Exactly. The Dems have always been able to frame issues and hence the debate. Even when they “compromise,” it is always portrayed to their advantage. They are doing the same thing with reform of the entitlement programs. The Reps are the “mean ones” who want to cut benefits for the old. Thus even if reforms are made, the Reps will be blamed by the Dems for these reforms even though they have been part of the deal.
Did Chris Wallace ask Dick Durbin where the administration buried the Bengazi survivors? (Yes, that's a trick question.)
Brilliant as usual.
Truth is there is nothing easy about winning elections. You have to take stands that are not always popular and will invite DBM scorn. If the left is successful in destroying our basic values as Americans, God, country and the family they will forever have changed the country. Its up to us to see to it that does not happen.
The Dems demand lockstep obedience to their party line. They do not tolerate dissent or differences in opinion.
Easton must be trying to get in good with the Rove coalition — she says the GOP needs to be more of the party of inclusion.
[Bigger tent, more leftward, more Dem lite, more amnesty pushes. Yeah, that’s the ticket, as the last 2 major elections have shown. /s]
Trippe and Rove are giggling like junior high girls at the namecalling going on with the various factions of the Republican party — wacko birds vs. old moss, etc.
[FNS panel has become insufferable in recent weeks.]
what newspapers do the Justices of the USSC read?
what tv news do they watch?
what website info sources do they use?
We can assume NYT and like congress, MSNBC.
It's been months since four Americans were allowed to be slaughtered by obama terrorists. Eye witnesses are like holy water to the blood drinkers in power.
Now that survivors of the event have been interviewed its an even bigger scandal for the regime that they have now threatened witnesses who were there with who knows what kind of consequences should they talk to anyone seeking truth.
Its a sad day for modern journalism that we have no one wiling to get to the truth however difficult it may be to do so.
LaTourette — president of the Republican Main Street Partnership
President and CEO ~~~~ and possibly the only member of the LaTourette Lobbying Company (LLC)
What an idiot. The MSM will jump on this. Boehner is the last person who should be negotiating with the Dems. He is part of the Washington establishment. He is not interested in cutting spending.
In the aftermath of some hours spent watching the speeches at CPAC this week, I concluded that the more things change the more they really don’t—at least for me.
While there are many good things about many of the Republican conservative potentials out there—Bachmann, Newt, Jindal, Rubio, Rand Paul in particular—the one who speaks more closely in sync with my thinking and in my opinion is also the most charismatic and persuasive of the pack is Mrs. Sarah Palin, R, Alaska, who had me at “Hello” in 2008 and still does.
To me, there is still no close second. She can just flat out rock it in a way that only Reagan could.
Exactly, kabar. We will be blamed for everything that goes wrong with anything all the time by the Obmamedia.
Truth is we need to get over what the drivebys have to say about us and just go ahead and do the right thing for America.
That means getting people off welfare, securing borders and balancing the budget irregardless of the moaning and groaning from left wing media sources.
IF we do the right thing for the country as a whole not certain vote groups only, we will get the respect we deserve. For the truth to get out we need to stop worrying about what the drivebys have to say and trust our own media.
The regime cannot be stopped at this point. No one is going to demand impeachment. I just hope that whatever comes out is enough to stop Hillary’s candidacy in 2016. Her ‘what difference does it make!’ outburst will already be used against her. But is it enough? We need something pretty big to hang around her shoulders.
To me, there is still no close second. She can just flat out rock it in a way that only Reagan could.
To me, too.
Why wasn’t she on the straw poll ballot, or was she?
Agreed, if she had the courage to stand up to the bullies on both sides she would win. Nobody wants to withstand the barrage of being a woman off the plantation, but she has charisma and deep convictions none of our candidates have.
Pray for America
You don’t see the GOP reaching out to groups like the Tea Party, only liberals are welcome.
Pray for America
By doing that the dems will become disoriented and it will show them as the phonies they really are.
Instead of having Hispanic Americans, black Americans, gay Americans, etc., etc., lets just treat every one as an American pure and simple.
When all the same rules apply to everyone equally the lefts divide and conquer strategy will no longer work.
Now that I’ve seen him in action, I think it’s fair to refer to any dirt-eating RINO as having “LaTourette’s Syndrome®”
just a few snarky comments from Politico reporter. Talk of '16.
I swear, a Cruz / Palin ticket overflowing with common sense, and bold defense of same would short-circuit lefty brains far and wide, and draw lots of support.
It has occurred to me that we have far too many political lifers in Washington DC who all think that they have a lifetime appointment to the Court of St. James. What this country needs is a critical mass of 300 Spartans, who are willing to go to Washington, clean up the mess in one fell swoop, then go home and let somebody else carry on.
One weakness in our form of government is that it was put together by people who basically wanted to go home. Our government works when the people in charge remember that they have a home to go, and they want to get back there.
When the lifers are in charge, we end up with this.
To me, too.
Why wasnt she on the straw poll ballot, or was she?
She only got 3 percent but would the vote have gone that way if it had occurred AFTER she spoke? Unbridled now that she doesn’t have to pander to Ailes and Rove at FNC, she just blew them all away yesterday.
I have put together a Grassroots manual which can get people elected without the $$ and corruption we have now. It levels the playing field and focuses on GOTV. It may make a difference.
Pray for America
If you look at our the past successes especially in the senate we have had remarkable success in replacing many RINO legislators with good, great conservatives like Marco,Cruz and many others.
Graham is now on our list and others as well. We are making progress but destroying powerful leaders now in office charged with representing us is probably counter productive.
Yes, it’s possible there’s a young upstart lurking somewhere. But the media is already carrying her water & intending for the next ‘historical’ presidency (first woman). We’ll have the same problem of trying to get a sensible message thru the media wall.
Optics be damned; they had to bury it for as long as possible, hoping people would forget, especially if they sandbagged past the election.
The truth must be damning, as they're still hiding it.
Whoever will be the Dem nominee in 2016 will win. Hillary is a lock if nominated. Only health problems can stop her from getting the nomination in 2016.
The only disparaging remarks I have heard about Cpac2013 is that border security was played down and some speakers who are in favor of strong border security were not allowed. But, I'm getting used to not getting 100% of anything any more.
