If you didn't see Jeb’s speech, you missed something. Near the end, he said, “In conclusion,” and the audience clapped. Jeb looked totally surprised, a second pause, then continued speaking. For the audience to applaud because he was through, was a big slap in the face to him. I was shocked when it happened, then realized he was toast to that group.

The conspiracy/Fox Mulder side of me wants to believe. But what I really believe is ‘setup’ so they can build a narrative of how Jef ‘won over’ the ‘people’ in the late stages of the campaign after they rejected him at CPAC 2013.

I put N O T H I N G past the GOP.
