Affidavit shows state rep's BAC more than twice the legal limit Newsroom 3/14/2013

State Representative Naomi Gonzalez had a blood alcohol content of 0.164, more than twice the legal limit, according to the arrest affidavit.

It also mentioned that Gonzalez slurred in her speech, failed several sobriety tests and cried to officers saying "how hard she worked to get where she was."

The Democratic State Representative from El Paso sits on several committees including investigating and ethics, and ways and means. She was named freshman of the year by the Mexican-American Legislative caucus last session.

But around 2 a.m. Thursday she was arrested and charged with DWI.

I did a quick search for this late last night and didn't find it posted. This was in the news all day yesterday, and not ONE newscast mentioned the political affilation. Being she was from El Paso and party was not mentioned, I knew she had to be a dim. This is the picture KLBJ had on their website.

When arrested, she was drunk as a skunk and crying to the arresting officers that she had worked so hard to get where she was....but never asked about the three people who were hurt when her BMW caused a double collision.

However, her sober aides repaired that damage on her web site by assuring us that her prayers were going out to those injured in this “unfortunate” accident.

Democrats are such scum.

It's got to be hard work ignoring common sense, societal norms, and any number of physical warnings from your own body to fight your way to an 0.164 in public, and then to make the effort to ignore DUI laws to get behind the wheel. Sad part is nothing will happen to her. If it were you or me we would be in jail and facing stiff fines.

Late news here in Houston covered it last night, albeit briefly. Not only did they identify her a Democrat but also said she was Chairman of the Ethics Committee. Not sure which channel but they also included a pic which must have been taken not long after she was arrested. Pretty pathetic.
