Mandeville, LA Its a report live from the IWA show in Germany, a take on school security, and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
Suzi Huntington, a 22-year-veteran of the San Diego Police Department and current editor for American Cop Magazine, stops by this week with insight on school security post-Newtown. In December 2012, Huntington wrote Weve empowered teachers to educate our children, and we expect no, we demand they protect our children while in their care. But, do we really think they can protect our kids, let alone themselves, when confronted by armed assailants in the very place everyone knows is weapon-free? The teachers and staff are the real first responders. Read the article at http://americancopmagazine.com/its-the-criminals/, and tune in Sunday to hear more. Also on this Sunday, writer, author and famer Frank James calls in live from the 40th Annual IWA & Outdoor Classics show in Nuremberg, Germany. With more than 1,200 exhibitors, James will have much to report! Check out IWA at http://www.iwa.info/en/, and read James updates on his blog Shootin the Breeze and other things

Firing it up!
Where’s everyone at tonight?
Forgot what time it was.
Dang old daylight savings time.
POW
I was just yakking at my brother that has been in India these past 8 years.
He really wants to raid the 8th TCMS this year.
I can’t stand this DST.
Pop, Bam, Boom! Thanks for the Ping.
DST pisses me off in the spring.
I like it when we set the clock back LOL
Howdy Dave!
Lake City is laying off workers while ramping production.

Working Overtime?
Nope. It’s my regular shift. 12-hour days, four days a week.
But because it’s a weekend, I DO get OT pay.
OT works.
Good news! Cheaper Than Dirt had 500 round bricks of 22 for the low, low price of only $89.95 the other day.
/s
Oh HELL yes!
I got a bipod on order for the PSL.
Good Lord! LOL
He won’t know what to think of us all LOL
Actually he is pretty good on his feet.
In other news, I saw a neat gizmo called a Ruger BX-25 X2 at another place.
The catch to bringing one home was you had to buy a gun. Soooooooo...
Wilson Combat will no longer provide any products or services to any State Government imposing legislation that infringes on the second amendment rights of its law abiding citizens.

Did Tom talk about the pending Merryland law that will make New York’s look like a Utah?
I’m going to have to spend thousands to register my guns.
And what were the prices?
SWEETNESS!
Speak up! Complain! Bitch!
The notion that we can wake up on day on the wrong side of the law is ridiculous.
The notion that I Can’t sell, will or control my property is ridiculous.
If it passes we’re moving across the river to blue state Virginia.
I hoped Tom would have talked about it.
Those mags have been going as high as $150.00 each on Gunbroker.
And Ammo is still pretty cheap. 20c the rd
It aint a SCAR, but it works.
The magazine was $50. The matching firearm was $269.
The gee whiz fancy stocked target model with a carbon fiber barrel was $750. It weighed only about 2 lbs. Oh so sweet. The mrs would have been most displeased, however.
Looking for a new place, yet?
I saw that. It did occur to me to list it, but nah.
I’d be proud to own it.
It works.
Not yet.
Here’s the thing why we live in Merryland. If you live in VA and work in DC, the nation’s worst traffic that beat out Los Angles years ago, your commute can be an hour/hours instead of 30 minutes from Bethesda without a traffic accident because you don’t have to cross a bridge over the Potomac. Time is money, and so is how much time I spend with my beloved.
But this may be the last straw, adding Sodomite marriage and the high taxes...the gun grabbers may put me over. I haven’t had a CCW in 16 years since I moved here and intend to again before I die.
7.62x54 is widely available.
High end rounds are out there at decent prices and there are billions upon billions of rounds of plinking ammo available.
Seems like Cheaper Than Dirt is stocked back up.
Syas “available in warehouse”. I don’t know what that means but it seems pretty self expiatory.
Good Lord! I have successfully avoided DC all of my adult life.
The traffic and grid lock bugged me 30 years ago.
I would like to see the Smithsonian.
Maybe you could buy a shack in VA and keep the majority of your guns there.
There is tons of this stuff warehoused as surplus, and plenty of current production accurate stuff.
The surplus stuff aint that accurate, but it will drop a pig at 400 yds
Stu is full of ****
Smithsonian(s) are worth seeing. You can see them all and walk The Mall in 3 days.
When we lived on The Hill we rode our bikes there very often. Except the Washington Monument, over rated and a pain in the arse to see.
There is very little the that I want to see outside of the Smithsonian.
Stu sounded like he had self doubt to me.
Maybe not a raging Hoplophobe but a wishy washy, “let’s register guns” kinda guy.
Ugh. Can’t wait to hear it.
I usually listen to the podcasts while at work.
