I am trying to point out to everyone that the term RINO is obsolete. As long people continue to use that term it implies there are only a few bad apples and the core of party (and leadership) is good. The term provides cover for the leadership to do as they please and have turds like McCain and Graham to act as heat shields. The reality is the party is rotten to the core. There are a few good guys left (Cruz, Paul, Lee, Amash, and a few others) who should form the core of a new party.
If the good guys would get together and leave in unison for a new party, they would be doing a greater service for their country.
Agree with your post. The Republican Party is by and large a bunch of appeasers more intered in their comfortable life in DC than standing up for our liberties and promoting responsible government. As elections approach, they give lip service to conservative ideals just long enough to get their money and votes. Then after the election, its back to the old status quo and businesss as usual.
With elements of the Tea Party and some promising good guys stepping up to the plate, we are getting ever closer to the critical mass needed to form a new party.
