The right and left battle is going to be waged at the State level during the lame duck term of this clown in the WH.

How exactly do they expect to confiscate 400 million firearms and hundred of billions if not trillions of rounds of ammunition?

“Several communities also are considering ordinances to make gun ownership mandatory, reports Fox News, while others recommend keeping firearms but don’t go so far as to require gun ownership.”

I just saw on the Fox morning show an interview about a town in Georgia that has come out with a law requiring heads of households to have firearms... unless they don’t want them. I laughed out loud.

If you want to own a firearm GREAT... if the local sherrif is willing to offer FREE firearm handling classes, EXCELLENT. But don’t make this yet another product that people MUST purchase if they don’t want it. Think Obamacare...

The intent is obvious... to enact local legislation that would reinforce the rights granted by 2A... but don’t make this a matter of “I like berries and cream... they should have a law that says we get free berries and cream on Sunday...” such talk always steers towards some tyrant from the gub’mint stating, “All citizens WILL eat berries and cream”.

Sorry, my libertarian nose twitches when something like this comes about... not much that comes from any “collective” governance (the local PTA...the Federal monster... it’s all the same) passes the smell test to me.
