Republican Sen. Rand Pauls filibuster on Attorney General Eric Holders refusal to rule out drone strikes against U.S. citizens, which ended early Thursday morning, was absent from the front page of Thursdays New York Times. The Times buried its coverage of Pauls striking talking filibuster, in which he held the floor for nearly 13 hours, ostensibly in opposition to Obamas choice of John Brennan for CIA director. Brennan was serving as a proxy for Pauls demand that Holder rule out drone strikes on American citizens or on U.S. soil.
The Washington Post, by contrast, teased the filibuster on its front page, and got two full news section stories out of ita 1,000-word story on A2 by Ed OKeefe and Aaron Blake, and a 750-word story by Al Kamen on page 15.

WaPo cracking a little, Slimes never will.
Looking at the online issue, I had to really search for it on the Denver Post’s site too. Certainly wasn’t on the first page.
What difference does it make? CBS reported today that 80% of NYC graduates cannot read anyway.
I didn’t see O’Reilly talk about it much either.
Paul picked the right item to filibuster on, the libs are having a hard time trying to spin it, this is quite entertaining.
