If one is inclined to not use such a weapon, buy several cans of wasp spray. The spray is accurate out to about 20 feet and will disable a threatening person!My sister is a RN. She once told me of a paitent who sprayed on RAID thinking it was bug repellent . . . Her skin absorbed the poison. It took about a week to die.

That is sad - but did it disable her right away. That is what you need from any weapon used against an intruder - they have to go down and stay there.

I am sorry to hear that someone died accidentally as a result of the wasp spray, but I still will keep the stuff by my FRont door and in my bedroom as just one more weapon at my disposal.
