I’m still waiting. Most students seem content to whine to their mommies and daddies about “getting a C if I don’t say what the Professor wants me to say”, instead of taking an F as a badge of honor if the POV goes totally against the Professors’ world view.
A lot like most taxpayers seem content to whine and go on paying taxes rather than standing on principle when that would involve consequences contrary to their immediate self-interest.
This is a me-first world, and even the college kids don't want to better it; they want to feather their nests. Get that diploma wallpaper; get that high salary; pay those taxes and support that government, however flawed it may be.
And we wonder why things never improve.
