The sight of First Daughter Malia Obama at a dinner this weekend with her friends prompted one spy to describe the meal as a “young girl’s social power club gathering.” On Saturday night, President Obama’s elder daughter, 14, was spotted at giant Chelsea restaurant Buddakan with eight of her friends, including a daughter of New York Giants chairman Steve Tisch.
According to witnesses, the girls were chaperoned by four parents and five security guards who dined at the table directly next to them.
“This place is so hip” while they dined on rock shrimp, edamame dumplings, short ribs, lobster fried rice and noodles. An Obama rep didn’t get back to us.

On the plus side, if the Zero’s are depending on their children to keep their secrets, I think we know how good teenagers are at keeping secrets.

Actually, she’s living larger than the Kardashians. Obviously, she had to be flown to NYC, she’s surrounded by Secret Service, and she’s dining with the “elites”. How many 14 year olds do you know who live like this?
How many 14 year olds of your acquaintance “just eat a meal” at exclusive, expensive, “so hip” restaurants? The whole thing makes me think of the pampered kids of socialist dictators.

The cost per person for that one meal probably costs more than what you spend on a month’s worth of groceries.
Most 14 year olds that I know, celebrate at the skating rink.
Insiders say that Malia is a nice girl but Sasha is a spoiled brat who throws around the “Do you know who my father is?” at school and elsewhere.
These girls know the truth about their parents but like Chelsea, will never squeal. It’ll come out years from now ..probably through their failed relationships and issues..then later the book.

We are under sequester and hard choices are having to be made. We all know the luxuries of living in the White House. Fabulous ski trips, beach trips, ego trips......but do the Obamas have to rub it in our faces, couldn’t they be a little less obvious in their extravagance?
