Back when everything was organic, natural and “sustainable”, life expectancy was far less than it was today. The people who consider themselves to be “progressive” are only so when it comes to pushing social policy and personal norms out of the bounds of what used to be the Judeao-Christian ethic.
While these folks are social “progressives” and their elites love to drive an expensive Prius (me? I drive a 1998 pickup), in many ways they are pitifully full of self-contradictions. They are worshipers of death, from the womb to assisted suicide and now ObamaCare death panels.
I wonder how energy-progressives are going to react to LENR. They will surely find something dangerous about it, or some other excuse to suppress its use.
