It looks to me like Sanford still hasn’t owned up to what he did. He sees himself as the only real victim in his whole sordid affair. He may not be a Democrat, but he is using his adultery and lies as a “selling point” for himself. It supposedly shows his true humanity, or some such garbage. And he is still trying to use his wife to further his personal ambitions. The guy hasn’t changed one bit.
