200 in the entire state? Yeah ok. That's a little less than one tenth of one percent, do I have that about right? And I'd bet big money that the "or misdemeanors" is far more than half of that number, and that the examples of "gun-related felonies" are far less scary than they want it to sound.
I don’t believe these lefties were terrified by “death threats”, they just got scared by a few irate phone calls when they found out not everybody agrees with their leftist agenda.
As for the claim that 1 in 12,000 permit holders has been convicted of a felony or misdeanor, compare that to the general population. Better yet, compare that to newspaper editors.
more than 200 of the 240,000 concealed-handgun permit holders at that time had been convicted of gun- or weapon-related felonies or misdemeanors in the previous five years.
Those "felons", probably very few of the total, should have all their rights restored after doing their time. If they are unsafe or still a threat, simply don't let them out.
Yet they don’t go after the rampant welfare fraud right under their noses! I’ll bet the percentage is well above 50% fraud and waste at the welfare dept!
