Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush won’t confirm he’s a candidate for the next presidential race, but he sounded like a White House hopeful Monday, declaring his party in need of leadership. “I have a voice, I want to share my beliefs about how the conservative movement and the Republican party can regain its footing, because we’ve lost our way,” he told TODAY’s Matt Lauer. Bush said he wouldn’t rule out a run in 2016, “but I won’t declare today either.”

He is running, he is the only hope the GOPe has. And if enough conservatives run to split the conservative primary vote again he just might win the nomination. Right now I see 2016 as a battle between Jeb Bush and Rand Paul. GOPe vrs Conservatives winner take all. I don’t see Sara getting in, I see her strongly backing Paul. It will be fun.

Palin will nebver run for any elective office. She had her chance. She was poised to go after her Tax Day speech to the Tea Party in Madison in ‘11. She took a pass. Her sniping from the sideline on FB is the extent of her involvement. I for one was disappointed in her refusal to run. But her time has gone. In my mind she is best remembered for single handedly delaying and almost killing Obamacare with two words,Death Panels. But beyond that soundbite she offered little substance. Her use of the phrase “common sense policies” became as empty and annoying as Barky’s use of “fair and smart”. As for ‘16. Jeb Bush will not be in the mix but don’t expect a tea Party or Freeper conservative to be the nominee. Despite the polls showing 40% as conservative, Tea Party or Freeper conservatives are probably less then 30% of the electorate and will never build a majority. Demographics and entitlements make that impossible.
Bengazzi (sp) killed Hillary in 2016. The voters would have to be complete idiots to elect her. Even low info voters “get it” that Hillary dropped the ball big time in Libya.
